STORYLINE
“Tears of Lune” is an emotional and socially driven Adi feature film that follows the heartbreaking journey of a talented young girl named Lune. Despite her hard work and academic excellence, corruption destroys her dreams and pushes her into darkness.

James Libang — Lead Actor as Ami Aro
Ami Aro is one of the most emotional and important characters in Tears of Lune. He is Lune’s true friend who always stands beside her during every struggle and difficult moment in life. Through pain, hardship, and emotional breakdowns, Ami Aro continuously supports and encourages Lune without expecting anything in return. His character represents loyalty, friendship, humanity, and emotional strength. Sita Samnam — Lead Actress as Lune

Director Profile — Kadum Tarang
Kadum Tarang is an independent filmmaker, writer, director, producer, cinematographer, and photographer from Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, and the founder of KT Films. Deeply passionate about indigenous storytelling and regional cinema, he is dedicated to promoting Adi culture, social awareness, and original storytelling through films and digital media.
Coming from a humble background with limited resources, Kadum Tarang pursued filmmaking with determination, self-belief, and a vision to represent the voices and realities of local communities through cinema. His works mainly focus on social issues, youth struggles, corruption, humanity, emotional storytelling, and cultural identity.
He is the writer, director, and producer of the award-winning Adi feature film Tears of Lune, a socially driven film that highlights corruption, poverty, broken dreams, and the struggles faced by talented youth in society. The film received appreciation from audiences across Arunachal Pradesh for its emotional depth and powerful social message.
